Tony Barrera is a conceptual artist born in Acapulco, Mexico, and raised in Long Beach, CA. He studied photography at Long Beach City College, and uses mixed media and cameras to explore humanity. The need for love, the joy of loneliness, and finding courage in depression are just some of the themes discussed throughout his body of work. His work has been featured in fashion magazines, and some published online by Vogue.
Barrera processes his images by hand, producing books, magazines, and prints.
